Ciaran is the Technical Consultant for Culinary in the Business Support Centre in the NWRC’s Foodovation Centre. He is responsible for developing relationships with local food businesses and entrepreneurs identifying their requirements for business support from Foodovation. His role involves engaging in innovation projects, supporting businesses with all aspects of recipe development and improvement.
Ciaran started his career here at NWRC where he studied ‘Professional Cookery’, he then used it to progress into further education by studying Culinary Arts Management at University College, Birmingham
He is an experienced chef who has worked abroad in Australia, Spain, Belgium, USA and Mediterranean Cruise ships. He has also worked in the Cayman islands at the Forbes ‘Five Star’ resorts and as ‘Sous chef’ through the pre-opening of ‘Adare Manor’ in Limerick.
Ciaran also works as a Culinary Lecturer at NWRC and was previously a Culinary Lecturer at NRC (Northern Regional College).
