Roisin McGranaghan

Roisin is the Technical Consultant for Food Technology at the Business Support Centre within NWRC’s Foodovation Centre. She is responsible for developing relationships with local food businesses and entrepreneurs identifying their specific needs and providing tailored support through Foodovation’s resources. Her role encompasses a broad range of activities, including engaging in innovative and technical projects and supporting all stages of product development.

Roisin completed her BSc in Food Science and Nutrition from Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT). With over 8 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing industry, she has gained valuable knowledge in various departments, including Quality Assurance, Technical, and New Product Development (NPD). Her proficiency spans the entire product development lifecycle, from concept development to market launch.

Her professional background includes extensive experience with a diverse range of products, including yogurt, dairy-based beverages, and ice cream. Roisin has been involved in the launch of numerous added-value products into major retailers across the UK and ROI.
