Company background

Wild Atlantic Travel Co offers education and culture through bespoke programmes, tours and gastronomic experiences throughout Ireland and Europe.

Challenge

The company wanted to develop a fully interactive, visual online progression system that archived the overall experience of students to develop their independent learning and language skills and study skills.

Solution

To assist and make their idea a reality, Wild Atlantic Travel Co contacted the NWRC XR Hub team who supported them through the InnovateUs programme which is funded by Department for the Economy.

This provided 50 hours of 1:1 mentoring support from NWRC Creative and Digital Media Technical Consultant, Aaron McKeever, who provided upskilling in the following areas: User Interface Design, Prototyping Applications, User Experience, and User Flow Charts.

Impact

On completion of the project, the company successfully developed a visual prototype of a new tracking system which accurately represents the status of a user’s progression using intuitive User Interface Design.

Future
