Maria Moore
Maria is a Business Development Assistant for the North West Regional College’s Business Support Centre. Her current role focuses on pre-employment academies and upskilling individuals by bridging the gap between educational offerings and workforce demands.
She is responsible for identifying opportunities to develop and promote programs that prepare individuals for specific careers or enhance their existing skill sets, ultimately contributing to their employability and career advancement.
Maria has over six years of experience working in management and administration in both the public and private sector. Her role incorporated planning, organising, resourcing, and controlling of a business which was fundamental to accomplish goals and to maintain effective and efficient day to day operations.
During this time, Maria has also gained valuable experience in public relations and sales, which has been a great benefit to her to succeed within her role in the Business Support Centre.
