Entrepreneurs, small and medium sized businesses who have an idea for a new product or service are encouraged to come along to one of North West Regional Colleges Innovation Voucher Drop-In Clinics to hear about the funding available through the Invest Northern Ireland funded programme and the support available from the NWRC.
The Innovation Voucher Drop-In Clinics will take place in NWRC’s Strabane Campus on Tuesday 29th January, Limavady Product Design Centre, Greystone Campus on Wednesday 30th January and Business Support Centre, Northland Building, Strand Road Campus on Thursday 31st January from 10am – 4pm.
Fergal Tuffy, Technology Innovation Manager at NWRC Business Support Centre explained:
‘’The £5,000 Innovation Voucher programme, funded by Invest Northern Ireland, enables entrepreneurs and businesses to tap into the expertise that exists in 3rd level institutions such as the NWRC. It’s a great starting point for entrepreneurs and businesses to explore new innovative ideas.
‘’At the clinics they will be able to speak with some of our technical experts who specialise in area such as Food, Engineering and Product Design, Electronics, ICT, Creative and Digital Media to discuss their ideas and how to make them happen. We are happy to help entrepreneurs and businesses apply for the funding and then if they’re successful we can agree a plan of work that will hopefully make their innovative idea a reality.
‘’We would encourage all entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses who have an idea for a new product or service, even if it is an innovation to a current product or service, to come along to one our innovation drop-in clinics in Strabane, Limavady or Derry and talk to a member of the team.’’
