What can it be used for?

The voucher can support a wide range of innovation activities, including:

  • Development of new products, processes, services, or business models
  • Improvements to service delivery and customer engagement
  • Creation of new services
  • Feasibility studies for new products or services
  • Innovation or technology audits

Vouchers are intended to help SMEs access innovative expertise and support from publicly funded knowledge providers.

Who is eligible?

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking for fresh, innovative approaches to business challenges.

An SME is defined as a business that employs fewer than 250 people and has either:

  • an annual turnover of no more than €50 million, and/or
  • an annual balance sheet total of no more than €43 million.

To be eligible, SMEs must be limited companies registered in Ireland and hold a valid CRO number.
