ChallengeCurve provide quality assurance and testing for business critical
applications such as smartphone banking apps and backend payment

The company wanted to recruit a graduate cohort group of QA and Test analysts for an intensive 6 week training and onboarding programme to join their consultancy ranks.
ChallengeCurve worked with NWRC Business Skills team to recruit six trainee students and facilitate the 6-week programme using funding from the Department for the Economy ERAP Fund.
All six trainee students are now employed as permanent, full-time test consultants and are working on ChallengeCurve’s anchor client’s live banking application and have integrated themselves into agile working.
Cathy Harron, Office Manager at ChallengeCurve described the benefits of working with NWRC’s Business Skills team via the Department for Economy ERAP fund. ‘’NWRC were great in securing full funding through ERAP and worked so hard to enable us to deliver the programme on time, especially given we gave them little notice of us needing to recruit specifically trained staff. All six students are progressing well. They have all been working on testing a smart phone banking application on both Android and IOS devices. We are so grateful to NWRC in putting the students forward and facilitating our programme. This is the second cohort of students, of which we have taken 100% from class to employment. Clearly a recipe for success in providing the specific skills we as an employer are seeking.’’
